Installing carpet is a skilled trade. Seam placement is one of the most critical aspects of the longevity and proper look of the completed job. Seaming techniques are improving with technology on which we stay current. We are familiar with the variety of seaming tapes that are available for the many backings of carpets as well as the best glue guns, attachments, and adhesives.

At Simon’s Flooring we know that the sealing of seams prior to “running the seam” must be expertly done to prevent future ‘seam peaking’ ensuring secure ‘welds’ of the carpet. The carpet must then be power stretched (not kick-stretched) for a drum-tight installation that will prevent your carpet from wrinkling later on.
